C-Lab has been made a national model project!
C-Lab — RaJA’s place for primary-school children to be looked after and to learn — has been selected by the Children and Families Agency for its model project on building after-school care with the help of private enterprise. The national project exists to secure places where primary children can spend their afternoons safely, and to work out, with the help of companies and private organisations, what sustainable care that fits a local community actually looks like.
C-Lab is not simply somewhere to be looked after. What we care about is an environment where children feel safe, learn in their own way, take things on, and grow. We take this selection as encouragement, and we will keep working on making the afternoons better for the children who come.
