For children aged 3 and over, childcare fees are covered by the national subsidy.

The fees, as a table料金表

The official fee sheets, written out as tables you can actually read. The school prices three kinds of family separately, so all three are in one table here — which makes it obvious that only six of the fourteen lines change at all. Any line that costs the same whoever you are is printed once, across all three columns.

Whichever is easier to read. The published sheets are below this. They say the same thing, but the sheets are the official document — and they are in Japanese.

The childcare and tuition fee is covered by the national subsidy for children aged 3 and over. To keep the reimbursement paperwork simple we divide the annual figure across the months. Because the fee is set against a full year of curriculum, if a child leaves partway through, the remaining months are still payable as a cancellation charge. Please be aware of this before you enrol.

  • “+Education” means the lessons that run from 2pm. At RaJA the childcare, the teaching and the lessons all finish in one building.
  • We are an official venue for both the abacus examinations and Eiken Jr., so children can sit them here.
  • Suspension fees are monthly figures.
  • Some lessons need things bought separately — a set text, sheet music, a swimming kit, an abacus of your own.

Extended hours延長料金に関するご留意事項

  • When it applies: after 14:30 for a child using RGA only, and after 18:00 for a child using C-Lab only.
  • A +Education lesson that itself runs past 18:00 does not count as extended hours.
  • To keep it fair to every family and to meet our staffing ratios, the charge starts the moment the time is passed — even by one minute.
  • The charge is ¥500 per 30 minutes, billed in 30-minute blocks (up to 30 min ¥500, up to 60 min ¥1,000, and so on).
  • If you are held up for a reason outside your control, we may waive it. Please call and tell us — we will be flexible.

Free childcare3歳以上保育料無償化

If your household has a reasonable need for childcare — both parents working, for example — you can submit the 新2号認定 (shin-nigō nintei) certificate issued by your local authority, and up to ¥37,000 of the childcare fees you have paid will be reimbursed.

Payment学費納入について

  • Fees are collected by automatic bank debit.
  • Until your bank registration is complete, please pay by transfer. The transfer fee is payable by you.
  • Fees are debited on the last weekday of the month, one month in advance.
  • If a payment does not reach us by the due date, your child cannot attend the following month.
  • Fees are an annual total divided across the months, so they are never pro-rated however many holidays fall in a month.
  • As at any educational institution, the entrance fee is not refunded under any circumstances.
